How do I sign up for a FOLX membership with Blue Shield of California?

If you have Blue Shield of California, you can get your monthly membership fee reimbursed starting 6/1/25!*

For members new to FOLX:

  1. Sign up for FOLX here. You will receive a 10-day free trial.
  2. Enter your insurance information. If you're not prompted to do this as part of sign up, you can add your insurance details directly in your FOLX account here after you complete membership sign up.
  3. Once we confirm you are eligible through Blue Shield of California, we will update your monthly membership fee to $35 going forward!
  4. You will then be able to submit your invoice to Blue Shield of California for $35. Read the full details on how to get reimbursed with Blue Shield of California here

For members returning to FOLX:

  1. Reactivate your membership here. You will be charged $39.99 for the month.
  2. Enter your insurance information. There are two ways to do this:
    • Book a visit and enter your insurance during booking.
    • Enter your insurance information into your FOLX account here.
  3. Once we confirm you are eligible through Blue Shield of California, we will refund you $4.99 and update your monthly membership fee to $35 going forward!

*Blue Shield of California will not reimburse yearly membership or HMO plans.
