Do I need to schedule a follow up appointment to get a refill?

  • Updated

This will depend on the care plan you and your clinician discussed including any follow up requirements such as labs, visits, and/or screenings.

At minimum, we require an annual visit for members receiving ongoing prescriptions–but often, a clinical care plan requires more frequent follow-up visits. It is also important to respond to outreach from your care team in the Message Center if they have clinical questions they need answered before sending a refill.

If you have questions about your care plan or requirements needed to receive a refill, please reach out through the Message Center

As always, if you have any health concerns, changes to your health, or want to modify your medication, please schedule time with your clinician to discuss.
