As of March 2nd, an in-person visit is required for new members who sign up for testosterone in New York City. In-person visits will take place at a health clinic in the Flatiron area of Manhattan. They are included in the price of your subscription. All follow-up visits can be virtual. New testosterone members outside of NYC can schedule a virtual visit to initiate care.

FOLX anticipates the end of the current Public Health Emergency (PHE) declaration this spring. The PHE allows providers to prescribe controlled substances after initiating care through virtual visits. When the PHE ends, providers will be required to initiate care with in-person visits to prescribe controlled substances, like testosterone.
